"I would 100% recommend doing this. It was a wonderful day full of exciting challenges, fun exploring our beautiful countryside and so many laughs. The attention to detail kept everyone captivated and keen to beat the other team. A great way to spend a day and get some healthy screen-free time." (Participant - Pilot King's Quest)

SEEKERS OF THE LOST WORLDS
In the role of time-travelling archaeologists, this adventure takes participants back in time to three different lost worlds of Lavant in the pursuit of the stories behind three pre-historic artefacts.

Participants will encounter historical characters who need help and in who return will tell you of a discovery that they have made that they don't understand:
-
A Saxon woman from the time of Alfred the Great has discovered something precious but fears it may be stolen by new invaders plundering villages.
-
A 17th-century royalist gentleman has found something on his land, now threatened by advancing Parliamentarians near Chichester.
-
A local innkeeper, regretting his ties to the notorious Hawkhurst Gang, harbours a secret that could lead to his execution.
Using their map, participants will navigate a trail that winds through fields and the village. Along the way, they must not only locate the characters but also uncover 12 hidden QR codes, each revealing key insights into the historical discoveries.
A booklet filled with extra challenges and helpful information will guide them throughout their adventure.
The quest’s goal is for teams to create stories behind the three discoveries, blending research and imagination. Although the true stories remain unknown, participants will be rewarded for the creativity and plausibility of their narratives. Teams can present their stories through various mediums, such as video, audio, writing, or illustration, and will earn points based on their storytelling and booklet activities.
