King's Quest      (Ready-made quest)

894 AD

From across the seas the marauding Danes have voyaged; their desire only to claim new lands. Now here they are, waiting atop Bow Hill for the people of Chichester to battle for this fertile soil. Can you find the two warriors, locate the final battle ground and win the viking treasure?

The Hawkhurst Gang (Tailor-made quest)

1747 AD

66 Year 6 students on summer camp were taken back in time to put a stop to the smuggling antics of The Hawkhurst Gang in Selsey.

These four characters held the answers and the grounds were littered with clues. An exciting afternoon was had by all!

The Great Fear  (Ready-made quest)

1805 AD

Napoleon's troops are preparing to invade England. Spies are operating in the Downs and smugglers continue to trade despite the imminent danger. Can you help the Admiralty find its lost semaphore message and save the country from invasion?

Sea Dogs Attack! (Tailor-made quest)

1588 AD

A bespoke quest for the staff of a secondary school. Lots of laughter and challenges for the teams intent on repelling the Spanish Armada and luring them on to Owers rocks! Team building with a very dramatic difference!

The Sound of Drums 
(TAILOR-made quest)

1643 AD

The Sound of Drums was originally written for the induction of secondary school students into a peer mentoring  programme. The quest; to seek out the three siblings of the Radclyffe family, who are all deeply affected by the recent siege of Chichester, engage with them and ultimately help to reconcile them.

A mystery quest for a staff body of 60 participants; set in local woodland teams are hot on the trail of a fugitive; but will they keep his secret or let him flee?

Trouble is afoot in the Wool Staple. An innocent man has been wrongly arrested, but who do you believe and who is spinning a crooked yarn? Solve the puzzles to clear the wool merchant's good name.

SEEKERS OF THE LOST WORLDS

This quest was created in collaboration with the Lavant history project to engage the local community with recent historical discoveries in the area. Designed for participants aged 6 to 90, this quest encourages teams of 4-6 people to embark on an adventure into the past to uncover hidden stories of lost worlds.

The Sound of Drums is set just after the siege of Chichester. Tensions are high and the city is divided. Can you prevent another attack by finding the characters, solving their puzzles and uncovering the plot to save Chichester from further destruction?

The LAST WoRD

1643 AD

This quest was created for an international school interdisciplinary unit connecting English and Individuals and Societies. The two full day-event took the whole grade level (9) back in time to experience the use of propaganda during the English civil war.
